  • Snacks: cup of tea with sugar
  • Lunch: 2 bacon, egg, 2 hash brown, black pudding, tomatoes, beans, 2 sausage, 2 cups of tea with sugar.
  • Snacks: none
  • Dinner: 2 teacakes with cheese on. Glass of Fanta.
  • Snacks: 3 chocolate balls, 2 chocolate balls with soft centers, cup of tea with sugar.

Day 8


  • Breakfast: none
  • Snacks: none
  • Lunch: 1 round of toast with peanut butter, cup of tea 1 sugar.
  • Snacks: none
  • Dinner: none
  • Snacks: 4 mini pizzas (about 1.5 inches diameter), mini spring roll, mini chilli cheese bite, mini bacon/cheese thingy (2). 5 jelly sweets, approx 2/3 bottle of Fat Sam's Margarita, 1 large glass of Fat Sam's Pina Colada, 1 glass lemonade. 3 cheese-and-pineapple-onna-stick.

Day 7


  • Breakfast: 2 rounds wholemeal toast with peanut butter.
  • Snacks: one hot chocolate from the vending machine
  • Lunch: pasta bake
  • Snacks: 2 cups vending machine hot chocolate
  • Dinner: Chicken legs (2) with veg and a little cheese, new potatoes. Cup of tea with sugar.
  • snacks: two more cups of tea.

  • Breakfast: frosties, tea with sugar, kiwi yoghurt, hot chocolate, 2 croissants
    with nutella.
  • Snacks: none
  • Lunch: chicken guacamole wrap, diet coke
  • Snacks: none
  • Dinner: New Potatoes, mince with mushrooms and onions.
  • Snacks: one Belgian Chocolate

Day 5


  • Breakfast: Bowl of mini-shredded wheat with added raisins. Cup of tea one sugar.
  • Snacks: none
  • Lunch: curry with rice. Glass of J2O.
  • Snacks: Hot chocolate with whipped cream. Hot chocolate.
  • Dinner: 1.5 potato skins, breaded broccoli, 1 chicken strip, oven roast chicken with bacon and cheese (only ate some, was burnt) and potatoes. PS I love you cocktail, Strawberry Daiquiri.
  • Snacks: none.

Day 4


  • Breakfast: Bowl of mini-shredded wheat with added raisins. Cup of tea one sugar.
  • Snacks: 2 cups vending machine hot chocolate
  • Lunch: soup and a beef/horseradish sandwich.
  • Snacks: 2 more cups of vending machine hot chocolate
  • Dinner: sweet and sour chicken and pork with noodles. Cup of tea with sugar.
  • Snacks: cup of tea with sugar and a Belgian chocolate.

  • Breakfast: Small bowl raisin wheats with extra raisins, cup of tea with sugar
  • Snacks: 2 cups vending machine hot chocolate
  • Lunch: jacket potato with cheese, twirl
  • Snacks: 2 cups vending machine hot chocolate, 2 double lollies and a green fizzy thing
  • Dinner: pasta, tuna, mayo and spring onions, cup of tea with sugar
  • Snacks: cup of tea with sugar

Today I ate:

  • Breakfast: 2 rounds thick wholemeal toast with jam. cup of tea with sugar.
  • Snacks: 2 chocolate biscuits, cup of tea with sugar
  • Lunch: Roast chicken, potatoes, pease, brocolli, carrots, 2 Yorkshire puds, gravy, small glass of white wine
  • Snacks: 2 cups of tea with sugar
  • Dinner: French bread, camembert, blue cheese, apple pie and cream, small glass of white wine
  • Snacks: another cup of tea with sugar

Day 1

Today I ate:

  • Breakfast: Raisin wheats with extra raisins, cup of tea with 1 sugar
  • snacks: none
  • Lunch: 8oz Rump Steak with Stilton sauce, mushrooms, chips and salad. Two J2O apple and mango.
  • Snacks: chocolate biscuit, cup of tea 1 sugar
  • Dinner: cheese and chorizo on toast. Cup of tea 1 sugar
  • another cup of tea with 1 sugar

Week 1

These are my starting measurements as of this time, taken on my kitchen floor (flatter) with the new scales.

11.7 and three quarters stone
30.6% body fat ratio
36.5" bust (don't want to shrink that really...)
31" waist
43" hips

The Diet Begins - Day 1

So, today I bought some scales so that I can weigh myself. However, I was convinced to buy the fancy body-fat monitor ones. This means that I can depress myself lots more than I expected!

But really no, I'm hoping that this Blog will help me to keep track of how I am doing, and mean that I have a reason to get slimmer, fitter and generally feel good about myself. - If anyone wants to join in, feel free!

GOAL DATE: I hope to get to this state by the first week in February (eek!) so that I'm comfortable on the holiday that I'm taking Dom on for his birthday!
